Ingredients

Crust:

  • 1 family-sized package of Oreos
  • 1/3 cup unsalted butter, melted

Filling:

  • 2 8 ounce blocks of cream cheese, softened
  • 2 3.4 ounce packages instant vanilla pudding (POWDER ONLY)
  • 2 ½ cups whole milk
  • 1/2 cup prepared caramel sauce

Topping:

  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

For Assembly:

  • 1 cup prepared caramel sauce
  • 1 cup hot fudge sauce
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 15 turtle candies (optional)

Instructions

  1. Crust: Place Oreos in a food processor, pulse into crumbs. Set aside 1 ½ cups of crumbs. Mix the rest with melted butter, press into a 9×13 dish.
  2. Filling: Whip cream cheese until smooth. Add pudding powder, mix, then slowly add milk. Mix in caramel. Pour over crust.
  3. Assembly: Sprinkle remaining cookie crumbs. Drizzle half of caramel and hot fudge. Add pecans. Whip cream, sugar, vanilla; spread on top. Chill 6-8 hours or overnight.
  4. Serving: Garnish with remaining caramel, hot fudge, pecans, and turtle candies before serving.

Notes

  • To achieve clean cuts, freeze the dessert overnight before cutting and serving. Pudding may resemble ‘ice cream’ filling; let sit out 30 minutes to an hour to soften if desired.
