Description

Layered pudding, fresh strawberries, bananas, and vanilla wafers create a delicious and easy-to-make dessert parfait.


Ingredients

  • 1 box instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 pack vanilla wafer cookies
  • 2 ripe bananas, sliced
  • 1 pint fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • Whipped cream (optional, for topping)

Instructions

  1. Whisk together vanilla pudding mix and milk until thickened, about 2 minutes. Stir in vanilla extract.
  2. In serving glasses or jars, layer crushed vanilla wafers at the bottom.
  3. Add a layer of pudding, then sliced bananas and strawberries.
  4. Repeat layers until glasses are full, finishing with fruit on top.
  5. Optionally, top with whipped cream.
  6. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving to meld flavors.
