  • 4 eggs

  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 1/2 cups finely chopped peeled apples (e.g., Honeycrisp)

For the Glaze:

  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 23 tbsp milk
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F (160°C). Grease and line a loaf pan.
  2. Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, beating well.
  3. Stir in vanilla.
  4. In another bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
  5. Add dry ingredients to the wet, alternating with milk.
  6. Fold in chopped apples.
  7. Pour into pan and bake for 60–70 minutes. Cool completely.
  8. Mix glaze ingredients and pour over cooled loaf.
