Soft, chewy, and packed with flavor, this Garlic Herb Grilled Flatbread is made with a simple yogurt dough and finished with fresh herbs and garlic butter. Perfect as a side for curries, dips, wraps, or grilled mains.

- 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
- 1 1/2 cups self-rising flour (or all-purpose flour + 1 1/2 tsp baking powder + 1/2 tsp salt)
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- For Garlic Herb Butter:
- 2 tbsp butter, melted
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1 tbsp chopped parsley
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine yogurt and flour to form a soft dough. Knead gently until smooth.
- Divide dough into 4 equal portions and roll each into a flat round or oval.
- Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium heat and brush with olive oil.
- Grill each flatbread for 2–3 minutes per side until puffed and grill marks appear.
- Mix melted butter, garlic, parsley, and salt in a small bowl. Brush over warm flatbreads before serving.
Notes
- If using all-purpose flour, be sure to add the baking powder and salt to make the dough rise properly.
- For a richer flavor, try adding a pinch of oregano or thyme to the garlic herb butter.
- Flatbreads can be made ahead and reheated on the grill or in a skillet.
