Description

Succulent crab legs drenched in rich, flavorful garlic butter sauce, perfect for a special dinner or seafood lover’s treat.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 2 pounds of snow crab legs or king crab legs
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning (optional)
  • Salt to taste
  • Freshly ground black pepper

Instructions

  1. If using frozen crab legs, thaw overnight in refrigerator or under cold running water.
  2. Cut along the top of crab shells with kitchen scissors or sharp knife for easier access.
  3. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
  4. Add crab legs and cook for 5-7 minutes until heated through. Drain and set aside.
  5. In a small saucepan, melt butter over medium heat.
  6. Add minced garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant but not browned.
  7. Stir in lemon juice, Old Bay seasoning (if using), chopped parsley, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 1 minute.
  8. Arrange crab legs on a plate and drizzle generously with garlic butter sauce.
  9. Garnish with additional parsley and serve with lemon wedges.

Notes

  • Thaw crab legs fully for even heating.
  • Do not overcook crab legs to keep meat tender.
  • Adjust seasoning to taste, especially if not using Old Bay.
