- 150g all-purpose flour
- 1g instant dry yeast
- 8g sugar
- 1g salt
- 45g olive oil
- 65g filtered water
- 130–150g Nutella (softened)
- 40g blanched hazelnuts, chopped
- 20g toasted sesame seeds
- Zest of 1 orange
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix flour, yeast, sugar, and salt. Add olive oil and water, then knead for 8–10 minutes by hand or 5 minutes in a mixer until a soft dough forms.
- Cover the dough and let it rise in a warm place for 1–1.5 hours, or until doubled in size.
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
- Roll the dough into a 20x30cm rectangle.
- Spread softened Nutella evenly over the dough.
- Sprinkle chopped hazelnuts, sesame seeds, and orange zest on top.
- Roll up the dough tightly from the long edge and cut into 6–8 rolls.
- Place the rolls cut side up on the baking tray. Let them rest for 15 minutes.
- Bake for 15–18 minutes until golden brown.
- Cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- Make sure Nutella is softened for easier spreading.
- Use freshly grated orange zest for the best flavor.
- You can toast the hazelnuts and sesame seeds ahead of time for deeper flavor.
- These rolls are best enjoyed warm but also store well for a day or two in an airtight container.
