Description

These BBQ Pulled Chicken Sliders are the perfect party bites—tender shredded chicken tossed in smoky barbecue sauce, layered with melty cheese and nestled inside buttery slider buns. Baked until golden and brushed with garlic herb butter, they’re savory, saucy, and incredibly satisfying.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 3 cups cooked chicken breast, shredded
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce
  • 12 slider buns or Hawaiian rolls
  • 6 slices provolone or mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tbsp butter, melted
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1 tsp parsley, chopped
  • Optional: pickles or coleslaw for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). In a bowl, mix shredded chicken with barbecue sauce.
  2. Slice slider buns in half horizontally and place the bottom halves in a greased baking dish.
  3. Evenly distribute the BBQ chicken over the buns and top with cheese slices.
  4. Place the top halves of the buns over the cheese.
  5. Mix melted butter, garlic, and parsley, then brush over the tops of the buns.
  6. Cover with foil and bake for 10 minutes, then uncover and bake another 5–7 minutes until golden and melty.
  7. Slice and serve warm, with pickles or coleslaw on the side if desired.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, you can add a touch of smoked paprika to the BBQ sauce.
  • These sliders can be made ahead of time and stored in the fridge until ready to bake.
  • Feel free to swap out the cheese for your favorite variety, like cheddar or gouda.
